Intro. to Embroidery Workshop: Heart Bookmark!

Learn the basics of embroidery in this hands-on workshop, led by the Pocono Mountain Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. Create a beautiful embroidered bookmark featuring cross-stitch heart designs while gaining valuable skills in embroidery. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore this timeless craft.
Program includes:
- A supplies kit with even-weave fabric, embroidery floss, a needle, patterns, and detailed directions (fabric and colors vary)
- Two hours of instruction to get you started
Please note: The project will need to be completed at home, but you’ll leave with clear instructions and a strong foundation. The photo provided is a sample—fabric patterns and colors may vary, making each project uniquely yours. While all supplies are included, participants are encouraged to bring small scissors. Consider bringing reading glasses or magnifiers to comfortably see the fine stitches.
