Get a jump start on the gardening season by learning how to successfully start plants from seed. In this hands-on workshop, Master Gardeners will guide participants through the basics of seed starting, from selecting quality seeds to providing the right light, temperature, and moisture for healthy seedlings. Topics will include choosing appropriate containers and growing media, understanding seed packets and germination requirements, preventing common seedling problems, and knowing when and how to transplant seedlings into the garden.
