How to Gather Ideas for Writing: A Guided Writing Workshop with Victoria Marie Lees

Ideas to write about are everywhere—places you’ve been, objects you’ve collected, people you know, and the experiences that shape your life. With published author and workshop facilitator Victoria Marie Lees, you’ll learn how to find inspiration through photographs, newspaper articles, online posts, and everyday life. She’ll help you brainstorm and gather ideas to write about, then offer questions and techniques to deepen your writing and get your ideas onto the page.

This workshop is great for beginning writers or anyone interested in developing a creative and rewarding writing practice. No writing experience is needed. This is a supportive, low-pressure environment. Open to adults/18+ only. Please bring a notebook/paper and a pen/pencil. This will be held in our Hughes upstairs Eisemann Room.
