Holiday Cards for Seniors: Share Some Winter Cheer!
Help brighten a local senior’s holiday season by making handmade winter and holiday cards! Your creations will be delivered along our Bookmobile route to spread cheer and let local seniors know someone is thinking of them.
This is a self-guided, social program intended for adults. Participants ages 14 and up are also welcome. Drop in, get creative, and enjoy some time crafting with others. All supplies will be provided, including blank cards, colorful paper, markers, stickers, ribbon, glue sticks, and more. Feel free to bring your own supplies, too!
Can’t attend in person or want to make extra cards at home? You can drop off completed cards at the second-floor Reference Desk at Hughes Library by Friday, December 4th, at 12 PM. NOTE: Please do not seal envelopes or sign cards with your personal name. Instead, sign with “Your Library Friend” or a similar message.
