Join us for a local history lecture by Jim, our local history librarian. Learn how the 1924 Immigration Act affected Pennsylvania and the people who called it home. This landmark legislation established country-by-country immigration quotas and ushered in a four-decade pause in mass immigration, shaping the population of the United States (and Pennsylvania!) throughout the 20th century.
