Now Hiring: Part-Time Circulation Clerk
Hughes Library is seeking a Part-Time, Permanent Circulation Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for those looking for a long-term, part-time opportunity in a vibrant library and community setting or for those looking to for entry experience in the library field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check materials in and out
- Register patrons and manage accounts
- Assist with customer service inquiries
- Sort and shelve materials
- Provide basic directional and program information
- Assist with opening and closing duties, and monitor library equipment
- Some evening and weekend shifts required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong customer service and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Criminal background check and child abuse clearance required
