Take Charge of Your Money at the Financial Wellness Fair at Hughes Library!
Learn how to manage your money, protect yourself from scams, and plan for major purchases at this free, drop-in community event. Throughout the day, attend short financial education sessions led by experts from UECU. Each session is approximately 30 minutes and designed to give you practical tips you can use right away.

Location: Hughes Library Community Room, 1002 N. 9th St., Stroudsburg
Cost: Free – No registration required
Light refreshments will be provided. Session attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a gift card drawing.

Session Schedule
- 10:00 – 10:30 AM: Homebuyer Education – Learn the steps to buying a home and understanding the mortgage process.
- 11:00 – 11:30 AM: Managing Credit & Budgeting – Tips to improve your credit score and build a practical spending plan.
- 12:00 – 12:30 PM: Identity Theft & Fraud Prevention – Learn how to recognize and avoid common scams.
- 1:00 – 1:30 PM: Auto Buying 101 – Understand the car-buying process and how to prepare financially.
