Strategic Plan: 2024 -2030
For more than 100 years, the Eastern Monroe Public Library has
played a critical role in our community. It is where children discover the world
of books, stories, and words; where teenagers find support for school projects;
where adults unwind by browsing favorite authors; where job seekers access
resources and expertise to move forward; and where the entire community gathers
for engaging programs that expand personal and civic horizons.
This strategic plan serves as a guiding tool for library staff and the Board of
Trustees in the years ahead. Developed with input from the community, the plan
identifies key priorities for serving people of all ages, maintaining the
library’s physical and technological infrastructure, and responding to rapid
change.
