Hughes Library Renovation, 1995–1998
From 1995 to 1998, the Eastern Monroe Public Library transformed the building that would become Hughes Library through a major renovation. The first floor opened to the public on August 31, 1996, while work continued on the second floor, which was completed and opened in January 1998. These photographs document the construction, interior spaces, and transformation of the building as the new library took shape.
