Meeting Rooms

 

The Hughes Library in Stroudsburg has 4 community rooms that are available at no charge to local non-profit groups:

• The Board Room has a large table seating 10 people. There is room for limited seating around the perimeter.

• The Edinger Community Room holds a maximum of 100 people. This room does have folding walls that allow it to infrequently be divided into smaller “rooms”.

• The upstairs Pullen Room also has a conference table, which can seat 8, with a maximum capacity of 14 people for the room.

• The upstairs Eisemann Room near the elevator has 4 movable tables with a maximum capacity of 20.

• The Smithfields Branch has a meeting room, the ESSA Foundation Conference Room, that can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a large table and television for use. To reserve our Smithfields conference room, please call 570-223-1881.

 

   

 

Call the 2nd-floor Reference Desk at (570) 421-0800 ext. 316 or ext. 317 to reserve any of the Hughes meeting rooms, including the Community Room, at the Hughes Library.

Click HERE for the Hughes 2024 Meeting Room Agreement Form. Before using one of our meeting rooms for the first time, non-profit groups are required to submit a Meeting Room Agreement Form. This form is also available at the Hughes Library’s Reference Desk.

Use of meeting rooms are subject to the Use of Meeting Rooms/Library Facilities policy. A number of updates have recently been made to our policy.
